Delaware is the second smallest state in the United States. It is on the rise in many spheres. However one issue that is uncontrolled and widespread in Delaware is the abuse of drug and alcoholism. The management is doing fine in controlling the situation however substance abuse is on the rise. One reason for the condition is that most of the drugs are easily available all over the state.

Under the influence of drugs many serious crimes are committed by the youths and it has been mostly seen in the city of Delaware. In addition to these drugs, pharmaceutical and club drugs are easy available to the teenagers and college going kids in the region. Another reason for the swelling numbers of drug users is the tendency of drug culture among both the students and the adults. The state is also under risk due to the pharmaceuticals as because teenagers find it easy to get hold of pharmacy drugs. What is worrying is the fact that college going kids are vulnerable to drug abuse due to the sway of party and club drugs. GHB and PCP are the most common drugs in use by a large number of populace.
