Water Scarcity in New Mexico due to over population

The state of New Mexico is suffering from water scarcity and on the other hand its population is rising almost rapidly. While the demand for water is increasing the supplies are decreasing. The problem with the New Mexico’s water law is that it lacks uniformity and enforcement. Because of the increase in demand the Mexico City is unable to cope with it.

It has been predicted that in the next 40 years the country will face extreme water shortage. This is due to high population growth and climate change. Drought is mainly responsible for the water shortage. Mexico City has a population of 19 million people and it only natural that if the population is so high water scarcity is bound to arise. The weather patterns in the Pacific Ocean are creating water shortage for the populace of the Mexico City.

When solution is forwarded recycling and desalinations to clouds seeding comes to the forefront. However, they seem to be temporary. For this reason, the populace should be educated about family planning. This will certainly balance the water verwhelming weight of the populace impacting the water resources.
