The rate of crime in Germany has dropped to a substantial level. That the police in Germany cracked a record-breaking number of crimes in the year 2010 says it all. Interior Minister Mr. Hans-Peter Friedrich has congratulated the police team for doing an excellent job. Unveiling the 2010 Crime Statistics of Germany, Friedrich has said that this year there is a 2 percent less crime in Germany compared to last year. The country has seen the lowest crime level since the records of the same commenced. Among the various crimes, juvenile delinquency has come down by 6.9 percent and aggressive crimes among youth have come down by 9.9 percent.
The German police have more to rejoice as it has been able to solve many crimes then compared to previous years. A record high rate of crimes has been solved. Nonetheless, the police are keeping their eye open for solving many more crimes and they are up against their feet to fight against crime and criminalities. The fight is an unending process and much is yet needed to be done.
However crimes rates have dropped no doubt but there is an increasing number of internet related crimes which needs to be tackled at the earliest. In the year 2010, internet crimes elevated to 8.1 percent. This computer crime is a worrying fact in Germany and more and more police involvement need to be there to solve the current crisis.
