Development not at the cost of environment depletion

With the expansion of countries such as China and India there is a fear of depletion of energy and natural resources. The population of these two countries is large in number and this augments their demand for energy and resources which will further add to the stripping away of the natural resources from the world sooner or later. The fear is looming large also due to the fact that the planet is not able to replenish itself as quickly as it should be.

At various conventions fingers have pointed towards India and China and suggestion provided that these countries should tackle the issues of population expansion and also look after ways for reduction of emission. Furthermore the developing countries such as China and India have other things to say. They are of the opinion that they have a right to growth. In addition, they are not the ones who are extravagantly pumping out greenhouse gasses and thereby adding to the adulteration of the atmosphere. Developing countries are doing their part to embark on a path of development where consumption is less and development will not take place at the cost of ruining the environment.
